RECALL ROUNDUP: Cream cheese, nuts and UTVs recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hy-Vee cream cheese and cookies and cream mix

Hy-Vee has issued a recall for four of its products.

The grocery store chain issued the recall Monday for its 8 oz. whipped cream cheese and its 12 oz. regular cream cheese.

The company has also voluntarily recalled its bulk-packaged cookies and cream mix.

Both recalls are over potential salmonella concerns and out of an abundance of caution. So far, there have been no reports of anyone getting sick.

If you own these products, Hy-Vee says to throw them away or return them for a full refund.

Planters Nuts

Hormel Foods has recalled two types of Planters nuts.

The company is recalling its peanuts and mixed nuts due to possible contamination with bacteria that causes listeria.

The recall includes Planters 4 oz. packages of honey-roasted peanuts along with some cans of lightly-salt mixed nuts.

The company says the recalled products have a "best if used by" date of April 11, 2025, and April 5, 2026, for the mixed nuts.

No illnesses have been reported.

Textron Specialized Vehicles UTVs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over 10,000 UTVs made by Textron Specialized Vehicles.

The recall is for the company's 2022 and 2023 Prowler Pro and Tracker 800 SX UTVs.

Federal regulators say the recall was issued because the vehicle's fuel tank cap does not fit correctly which can cause a fuel leak, posing the risk of a fire.

The vehicles were sold at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's and independent dealers.

CPSC says owners should stop using the recalled UTV immediately and contact a dealer for a free inspection and repair.

Textron says it is contacting all known buyers directly.
