RECALL ROUNDUP: Regulators recall Ford F-150 trucks and at-home massagers

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Ford Motor Company has recalled over 112,000 F-150 pick-up trucks that could roll away when parked.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says a rear axle hub bolt could break, which could cause the truck to roll away when in park or lose driving power.

The trucks included in the recall are F-150s made from 2021 through 2023 that have the trailer tow max duty package.

Ford says if drivers hear a clicking or rattling noise they should take their truck to a dealership.

The company says it has not received any reports of accidents or injuries due to the issue.

Homedics Therapist Select Percussion Personal Massagers

Homedics has recalled about 46,000 of its Therapist Select Percussion Personal Massagers due to possible fire and burn hazards.

The company says the device can overheat while charging and could lead to fire and burn hazards.

Federal regulators say the affected products have manufacturing dates from 2022 and before.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the personal massagers were sold online and nationwide at Home Depot, Lowe's, JC Penny stores and Amazon from September 2020 through November 2023.

Homedics says consumers should stop using or charging the massagers immediately.

Consumers can contact the company for a full refund or a refund in the form of a credit toward any Homedics product, including a 20% bonus, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
