JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Wednesday, Break Time Convenience Stores reported on Facebook there was a fuel issue at several locations.

The convenience store reportedly identified seven locations:

  • four in Jefferson City (Truman Blvd, MO Blvd, Main St, McCarty),
  • two in Sedalia (808 E Broadway, 318 W Broadway),
  • and in California—where this problem may be present.

On Thursday, the convenience store reporting the Truman Blvd gas station in Jefferson City is now back in business with unleaded gasoline.

Officials say if anyone purchased fuel at the Tipton truck stop in Sedalia and 2601 W Broadway in Sedalia it has been determined that fuel is fine and should not have any issues.

Officials say the problem lies in fuel delivery with our primary carrier, Midland.
