Jefferson City High School dismissed early Thursday because of a broken water line. The Jefferson City school district posted on Twitter that water had to be shut off after a line broke on a unoccupied lower level of the school. A water utility has restored service to a large area of Jefferson City after two main breaks left 5,500 customers with little or no water.
