• Homecoming: Mizzou is credited with inventing the tradition of homecoming in 1911.
• Thomas Jefferson’s Tombstone: The original tombstone was gifted to the University of Missouri and sits on the east side of the quad.
• Biggest Bass Drum: Mizzou boasts the largest bass drum in college football—nine feet wide, and only alumni are allowed to handle it.
