Health officials are investigating several cases of the food-borne illness cyclosporiasis, which appears to be linked to eating McDonald’s salads. Seven cases have been reported across Missouri, with other cases popping up around the country. People become infected when they eat food or drink water that has been contaminated with feces that contains the parasite.
