TONIGHT: Snow is possible as we head into the evening, with the greatest chance along and south of Hwy 50. It’s highly possible that areas near I-70 remain snow free, outside of a few flurries. This drying trend has been evident the past 24 hours, so wouldn’t be surprised if many locations no accumulating snow.

The Cole County courthouse was completely evacuated Friday afternoon. ABC 17 is on scene and working to find out why the building was evacuated and if there are any safety concerns.

UPDATE 2:27 P.M.: Jefferson City Public Schools will pay a total of $400,000 and Gretchen Guitard will get $250,000 of that. The school district has 20 days to pay.
