A sergeant with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department said four people were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a three-car crash on Obermiller Road, just north of Columbia. Callaway County sheriff deputies were called to the New Bloomfield Dollar General just before 10 p.m. Friday for a reported theft. Elizabeth Pigford and Michelle McMillin were identified as the suspects. According to the Sheriff’s Officer, McMillin ran away before deputies arrived.
