Columbia hires new city treasurer

The city of Columbia filled a years-long vacancy in it’s finance department on Friday with a new treasurer. Chelsea Miller started Monday as treasurer, according to a Friday news release from the city. Crews monitor road conditions ahead of snow

Teenager arrested in Columbia shooting

A teenager was arrested Wednesday after police heard gunshots being fired in northeast Columbia. Columbia Police Department spokesman Jeff Pitts said officers arrested Tyjuan J.
