Boone County, Mo. (KMIZ) A Columbia man was pronounced dead at the hospital on Saturday after he collapsed in his cell at the Boone County Jail, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department. Robert Erik Bishop, 52, had a medical emergency in his cell due to a medical condition, said Sgt. Brian Leer with BCSD.
