Biden will go to Michigan to meet with United Auto Workers members

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden will visit Michigan to meet with members of the United Auto Workers, according to a campaign official speaking on the condition of anonymity. His trip to the key battleground state on Thursday comes as he faces sharp criticism from Arab and Muslim leaders over his handling of the war in Gaza. Some refused to meet with Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, on Friday. Biden won Michigan in 2020, but a repeat victory is in doubt as he runs for reelection.
