* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. A few new
roads have closed this morning and several stream gages within the
warned area indicate water is still rising across some locations.

* WHERE…Northeastern Chariton County in north central Missouri…
Grundy County in north central Missouri…
Linn County in north central Missouri…
Northern Livingston County in north central Missouri…
Macon County in north central Missouri…
Mercer County in north central Missouri…
Putnam County in north central Missouri…
Sullivan County in north central Missouri…
Adair County in northeastern Missouri…
Schuyler County in northeastern Missouri…

* WHEN…Until 1030 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 929 AM CDT, Between 2 and 7 inches fell yesterday. Flooding
continues with transportation department officials reporting
numerous state routes closed due to high water.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected today.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Kirksville, Trenton, Macon, Brookfield, Marceline, Milan,
Unionville, La Plata, Lancaster, Princeton, Bevier, Green City,
Queen City, Bucklin, Meadville, Novinger, Greentop, Atlanta and
Laclede.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
