Flood Warning issued June 10 at 4:32AM CDT until June 12 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Ray, Lafayette and Jackson
Counties.

Missouri River at Waverly affecting Carroll, Saline and Lafayette
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Waverly.

* WHEN…From this evening to Friday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 4:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 21.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
