…RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM CDT TUESDAY FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR PARTS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI…

The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon to 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* AFFECTED AREA…In Missouri, Fire Weather Zones 041, 047, 048,
049, 050 and 059.

* TIMING…

* WINDS…South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 17 percent.

* IMPACTS…These conditions are conducive for the rapid spread
and growth of uncontrolled wildfires.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.
