No. 18 Kentucky tops Mizzou volleyball

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou volleyball team fell in its SEC home opener, 3-1, to No. 18 Kentucky at the Hearnes Center on Wednesday night.

The Tigers took set one over the Wildcats, 25-12, however, they couldn't carry the momentum into the remaining sets.

Senior Anna Dixon led MU in kills with a season-best 14, along with two blocks. Sophomores Jordan Iliff and Kaylee Cox each had more than six kills on the night, as well.

Up next - Mizzou will head to South Carolina on Saturday Oct. 1 and Oct. 2/
