Lake Regional Health provides bivalent COVID-19 vaccine boosters

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Lake Regional Health System announced it is offering Pfizer’s bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine at each of its seven primary care clinics.

Its locations include Camdenton, Eldon, Iberia, Lake Ozark, Laurie, Lebanon and Osage Beach.

The CDC recommends people ages 12 and older receive the booster. This includes those who have received all primary series doses and people who have previously received one or more monovalent boosters.

It is not necessary to be an established patient with Lake Regional in order to receive a vaccination appointment. The COVID-19 vaccine is provided at no charge. However, there is a vaccine administration charge that will be billed to your insurance -- including Medicare -- if you are insured.
