Tracking plenty of sunshine with a late week warm-up

Today: Temperatures will slowly increase nearing 80 degrees this afternoon as winds remain stronger out of the northwest. Gust up to 25 mph will be possibly this afternoon. Skies remain mostly sunny.

Tonight: Overnight lows look to cool steeply once again thanks to mostly clear sky conditions and continuous winds out of the northwest. Lows bottom out into the mid-50's.

Extended: Highs will slowly continue to increase into the second half of the week thanks to winds return out of the southwest paired with increased sunshine. Highs top out into the upper 80's heading into the weekend. A low pressure system will slide into Mid-Missouri by Saturday night leading to isolated showers heading into Sunday morning
