Tracking cooler lows with plenty of sunshine

Tonight: Temperatures look to fall into the lower 50s tonight as winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Skies remain clear with overnight fog developing around river valleys and lakes.

Tomorrow: Temperatures slowly warm as the day continues with sunny skies. Winds increased sustained at 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. Afternoon highs top out just below 80 degrees keeping Mid-Missouri just under Mid-September norms.

Extended: Sunshine and clear skies remain across Mid-Missouri throughout the week thanks to a high pressure system to the west. Winds return back out of the south by Wednesday leading to above average highs returning by the second half of the week.
