Tracking overnight stronger storms

8.29.22

Tonight: Two rounds of showers and storms will continue to make their way through Central Missouri tonight. The main threats will be strong winds up to 60 mph and hail up to 1" in diameter. Strong downpours will also be associated with tonight's storms. The driving force for tonight's storm will be a cold front pulling in from the northwest. Overnight lows cool to the lower 70's.

Tomorrow: Showers and storms will begin to exit the region early Tuesday morning making for better driving conditions for the morning commute to school or work. Skies will begin to clear as winds shift back out of the northwest leading to highs cooling into the mid-80's.

Extended: Conditions remain on the clearer side the rest of the week with highs remaining into the mid-80's. Winds return back out of the south by Thursday afternoon leading to a slight increase in afternoon highs heading into the weekend.
