Warrensburg Police Department identify package in bomb threat
The Warrensburg Police Department in Johnson County said the suspicious package left at it’s flagpole Friday was a bag of trash.
The police station was closed and evacuated Friday while investigating a bomb threat. Police said a man walked into the stations lobby and left a backpack with a bomb in it at the flagpole. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Bomb Squad removed the package and determined it was a bag of trash.
Warrensburg Police haven’t said if they arrested the man.
