Jefferson City police said a 60-year-old woman was hurt in a crash Friday when she was hit by a truck that turned out in front of him from a Walgreen’s parking lot.

According to police, it happened around 4 p.m. in the 600 block of Dix Road. Randall Aulbur, 43, was making a left turn from Walgreens to go north on Dix Road, and turned in front of Renee Gardner, 60, who was going south.

Gardner crashed into the side of Aulbur’s Ford Expedition, and she had to be taken to University Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.
