Tracking a round of storms to kick off the weekend

Today: Isolated showers are possible early in the morning, clearing by noon. Another round of storms sparks across our eastern counties this afternoon, with a very low risk of producing high winds. Still a mild afternoon otherwise, especially further west, with highs in the mid-80s.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy as highs hold steady in the mid to lower 80s.

Extended: A period of tranquil weather sets up for at least the first half of next week as northerly winds prevail. This will keep daily highs below average, and lack of moisture staves off rain chances thru Wednesday. Late week may feature more rain chances as the upper level pattern shifts, though it doesn't look like a washout at this point.
