Columbia woman turns herself in for stealing from businesses

A Columbia woman turned herself in to the Boone County Sheriff’s office on Tuesday after she had warrants out for her arrest for allegedly stealing from multiple businesses.

According to court documents previously filed, Talicia Fletcher was wanted for allegedly stealing a television from a Walmart in Mexico, Missouri, as well as stealing items from the Columbia JC Penney and Hibbett Sports.

Fletcher and a group of four others allegedly used two U-Haul trucks to steal more than $1,000 worth of clothes. All of the incidents of stealing happened in September.
