Columbia man arrested for Mexico theft
A Columbia man was taken into custody on Wednesday after the Mexico Public Safety Department linked him to a car theft and a burglary in the area.
According to MPSD, a vehicle was rummaged through and had change stolen from it early Wednesday morning in the 600 block of Whitley Street. The owner of the vehicle and security footage of the incident, and police were able to track down Randy L. Jennings, 52, of Columbia. Officers were also able to link Jennings to a home burglary that occurred on Tuesday.
Jennings was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and stealing. He’s being held in the Audrain County
