Columbia Public Works crews treating roads for possible snow Thursday

Columbia Public Works said an eight-person plow crew is scheduled to report at 5 a.m. Thursday for snow operations.

According to a press release, “crews will focus on treating designated snow routes before the morning commute.”

Public works said less than one inch of snow is expected to start falling around 6 a.m.

An official with Jefferson City Public Works said they will be constantly monitoring road conditions and send crews out if necessary.

Columbia Public Works said updated winter weather operations will be posted on CoMoSnow.com.
