Man arrested with more than 2 pounds of marijuana

A North Carolina man was arrested in Callaway County on Thursday after authorities found 2.5 pounds marijuana in his car, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report.

Evan W. Harris was pulled over on Interstate 70 at milemarker 149, outside of Kingdom City. A Callaway County K9 unit alerted MSHP to the vehicle, and authorities found the marijuana along with other drug items.

Harris is being held at the Callaway County Jail and is awaiting charges.
