Moberly police investigate shooting after disturbance reported

Moberly police confirmed they are investigating a shooting that happened Thanksgiving night.

Police said they got called to the 900 block of North Ault Street around 9:43 p.m. for a shots-fired report.

When officers arrived, they found at least one shell casing on scene and several witnesses confirming a disturbance took place and one shot was fired.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, but due to lack of cooperation and several inconsistent statements, no arrests have been made.
