Five people injured in Moniteau County crash

Five people were injured in a crash in Moniteau County on Wednesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 5 near Hartmann Road.

Authorities said an SUV rear-ended a slow-moving vehicle.

Two adults and two children in the SUV were taken to the hospital with moderate to serious injuries, according to the crash report.

The driver in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, authorities said.
