Jefferson City man committed for violent sexual behavior

A Jefferson City man was committed to a state mental health treatment facility following a conviction from the Missouri Attorney General.

Dorian Bryant, 46, has a long history of violent sexual crimes, according to a report from the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, including first-degree sexual misconduct and attempted forcible rape. More recently, Bryant allegedly exposed himself to woman and her 5-year-old daughter in a toy store parking lot, according to the report.

The Missouri Department of Corrections found Bryant suffers from a mental disorder, which causes his nonconsensual sexual behavior. Bryant’s custody has been turned over to the Department of Mental Health for treatment until he is deemed to be safe.
