Tracking a comfortable weekend of below average temps

Today: Make sure to get outside this afternoon as highs peak into the lower 80's giving Mid-Missouri a break from the extensive heat we've seen throughout the majority of July. Skies remain partly cloudy with winds out of the southeast.

Tonight: Temperatures look to fall to the mid-60's making for a comfortable night with mostly cloudy overnight conditions.

Extended: The majority of Mid-Missouri looks to stay dry this weekend, but areas near Lake of the Ozarks and the I-44 corridor towards Rolla can expect some isolated showers and storms throughout Saturday afternoon lasting through Sunday. Highs remain into the lower 80's before conditions make another turn towards warmer highs and dryer conditions thanks to an incoming high pressure system and winds back out of the southwest. Highs return to the upper 90's with increased humidity by next Wednesday.
