Cooling down the next few days
TONIGHT: Temperatures tonight drop back to the low 40s under clear skies. Winds will continue to shift out of the north, as a weak cold front tracks through the region. It’ll be a dry frontal passage, with little to any clouds expected as it tracks through.
TUESDAY: It will be cooler but still pleasant with high temperatures reaching the low to mid 60s under sunny skies. Northeast winds will remain under 10 mph.
EXTENDED: Surface high pressure will build in from the north behind Tuesday’s cold front, carrying with it cooler and dry air. This will keep high temperatures in the 50s from Wednesday through Friday. Lows will dip into the mid to upper 30s Tuesday night with patchy frost possible. As the high pressure shifts to the east, moisture will move in from the west with increasing clouds Wednesday through Thursday. There is a slight shower chance Thursday night into Friday but a better rain chance arrives Friday night and early Saturday as a cold front moves through. Showers will be very light in nature and look like they will move out by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will remain cool with highs in the 50s for the weekend and nights near 40.
