One man is dead after drowning at Lake of the Ozarks

A Missouri man is dead after a drowning Wednesday afternoon at Lake of the Ozarks.

According to online crash reports, the drowning happened at the 30.8 mile marker of the main channel.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says 78-year-old Ronald Miller was on a fishing boat with another 78-year-old man when he fell off and wasn’t able to stay afloat.

This is the first drowning at Lake of the Ozarks since July.
