Jefferson City police investigate shooting that left one injured
UPDATE: The Jefferson City Police Department confirmed one person was shot on Monday night.
According to police, the victim is now in the hospital.
Officers said they saw a large crowd scatter after responding to the call just after 5:40 p.m. in the 900 block of East Miller Street.
Right now, investigators are working to get a suspect description. Once they have one, ABC 17 News will share it right here.
ORIGINAL: Jefferson City police responded to reports of a shooting in a park on Monday night.
Police were on scene investigating after 6 p.m. at East Miller Neighborhood Park.
ABC 17 News crews saw at least four units at the scene.
