Five-vehicle crash on I-70 causes backup
A five-vehicle crash Friday evening on Interstate 70, mile marker 115 caused backups for six miles, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation Central District.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the Missouri River bridge at Rocheport. MoDOT urged drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Lanes were reopened at 7:40 p.m. Information about the cause and injuries was not available late Friday.
