Rolla man found with large amount of meth
A Rolla man was arrested after police found a “large quantity of suspected methamphetamines, prescription medication, marijuana and items related to the distribution and use of controlled substances.”
Brandon M. Williams, 31, was stopped by Maries County police in Vichy while he was speeding. According to police, he also failed to stay on the right side of the road and did not have a working tail light on his trailer.
A K-9 unit was called and alerted police to Williams’ truck when deputies conducted a search of the vehicle.
“I am proud of our K-9 Unit and the work Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group does in our area,” said Sheriff Chris Heitman in a press release.
Williams is a convicted felon and is on parole for distribution of a controlled substance.
Williams remains in the Maries County Jail with charges pending.
