Florida man arrested after marijuana found in vehicle

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a Florida man after finding 62 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle.

Highway patrol troopers arrested Derek J. Eaton, 40, of Gainesville, Florida, at 12:39 a.m. Monday on suspicion of drug distribution after finding the marijuana, a patrol online arrest report says. Troopers stopped him a little after midnight for a lane violation at the 105 mile marker of Interstate 70, the patrol’s Troop F said in a tweet.

More information about the stop and charges against Eaton was not available Monday morning.
