The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department says Lebanon police arrested a man Thursday after a report of a hostage situation.

The department posted on Facebook that Pulaski County deputies were sent to the 30000 block of Route AB on Thursday afternoon for a report of a disturbance and a person being held hostage.

The sheriff's office said the address was known to law enforcement due to previous incidents at the home. The release states that deputies knew Nathanael Vanluven was a resident, had an active felony warrant and a criminal history. They later learned Vanluven was involved in the disturbance, the sheriff's department said.

Deputies couldn't find anyone at the home but pinged the victim's phone and found it in Laclede County. The victim was found safe, the release says.

Lebanon police found and arrested Vanluven. He was booked into the Pulaski County Jail on a felony warrant from a previous case and on suspicion of first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and illegal gun possession.

His bond is set at $150,000.
