CPD investigates Central Bank of Boone County robbery

The Columbia Police Department wants help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed the Central Bank of Boone County Thursday.

Officers responded to the bank location on Paris Road around 11:55 Thursday morning in response to a possible robbery. Upon investigating, officers found a man entered the business, approached a teller and demanded money. The suspect then retrieved an unknown amount of money and fled the area.

There were no reported injuries or property damage in the incident.
