UPDATE: No suspect information released after shooting in downtown CoMo

UPDATE: Columbia police said two vehicles were involved in a shooting Saturday.

According to officials, passengers exchanged gunfire between the two cars.

No one was hurt, and no suspect information was available.

ORIGINAL STORY: Columbia police are investigating a fourth shooting in three weekends in downtown Columbia Saturday morning.

Police were called to the corner of 6th Street and Broadway Street around midnight.

Police believe at least two people were involved in the shooting, but they said the suspects fled the scene.

Shell casings were found in the area, police said.

They said multiple people witnessed the shooting and they are following up on several leads.

An ABC 17 News crew spoke to people who were at a nearby bar when they heard gunfire.

Those people said the first thing they did was hit the floor in panic.
