The next 48 hours remain dry & sunny, tracking rainfall by Tuesday

TONIGHT: We’re going to hold on to mostly clear skies this evening as temperatures fall into the mid-60s overnight. We stay dry into Sunday morning, easterly breezes steady at 5-6 mph.

SUNDAY: We start the morning on the cool side, but with full sunshine all day, temperatures ramp right back up into the low 90s by the afternoon hours. Thankfully we hold on to the low humidity so getting outdoors won’t be too uncomfortable. As always, with lots of sunshine around, the sunscreen will be needed– especially if you’re headed to Sedalia for the Missouri State Fair.

EXTENDED: Our work week starts out dry as with temperatures in the upper 80s & low 90s– however, we’re going to watch increasing cloud cover Monday afternoon ahead of our next storm system which looks to bring more much-needed rain to the Midwest, including Mid-Missouri. That rain lasts into Tuesday, coming in multiple waves through Wednesday morning. Another round of rain arrives Thursday. Certainly good news to see this much rain in the forecast.
