Police find drugs, $18,000 in man’s car

Federal probation officers found drugs and more than $18,000 in cash with Stefan Williams on Thursday.

Officers searched Williams outside The Broadway Columbia hotel in Columbia and found 6.5 grams of cocaine as well as $1,126 in cash on his person. After searching Williams’ car, police also found 18.3 grams of marijuana and $17,500 in cash.

Williams is currently on probation for federal drug charges.
