UPDATE: Missing teenager found safe
UPDATE: The Boone County Sheriff’s Department confirms the teenager was found safe Thursday afternoon in Columbia.
ORIGINAL: The Boone County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s assistance Thursday to locate a missing teenager.
According to a news release, 17-year-old Tristan K. Samuels, of Harrisburg, was reported missing by his family earlier this week.
The sheriff’s department said Samuels has medical issues and may possibly be in danger.
Samuels is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, according to the release.
The sheriff’s department said he also has a tattoo on his left arm.
Anyone with information about the teenager’s whereabouts should call 9-1-1.
