Two people injured after two-vehicle crash on Highway 52 in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The drivers of two vehicles were injured Friday afternoon after a wreck on Highway 52 at Route C in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, Darlene Ouderkirk, 70, of Versailles, was driving a 2005 Ford Freestar and attempted to turn left onto Route C from Highway 52.

Officials say the Freestar turned into the path of a 2010 Nissan Xterra driven by Kenneth Beeman, 33, of Stover causing the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.

Ouderkirk was taken by ambulance with serious injuries to Lake Regional Hospital. Beeman was driven by someone to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
