President Trump visits Kansas City

UPDATE: President Donald Trump spoke to a large group of veterans at the Veterans of Foreign Wars 119th Annual Convention in Kansas City Tuesday morning.

Minutes after taking the podium, Trump introduced Missouri Attorney General and candidate for U.S. Senate Josh Hawley.

Protestors and supporters were outside of Tuesday’s address.

The president is scheduled to visit Granite City on Thursday.

ORIGINAL: President Donald Trump is visiting Kansas City, Missouri, Tuesday morning.

The 45th president will address the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ 119th Annual Convention at 11:30 a.m. at the Municipal Auditorium.

This will be the third time President Trump has visited Missouri as commander in chief.

In a tweet this morning, President Trump wrote, “Heading to Missouri to be with many of my great friends. VFW here we come.”
