Police confirm shooting on Ballenger Lane
The Columbia Police Department said a 16 year old male was shot in the leg at the intersection of Ballenger Lane and Rice Road.
Police responded to the call around 11 a.m. Tuesday. The victim was found down the road from the intersection at a residence in the 4600 block of Rice Road. He was taken to the hospital.
The injury is not life threatening, and law enforcement said they do not currently have information on the suspect.
The investigation is still ongoing.
