Pleasant summer weekend in Mid-Missouri

TODAY: Plenty of sunshine will greet us this weekend! All of that sunshine will help us warm into the upper 80s around Mid-Missouri this afternoon. Winds out of the northwest will keep us on the comfortable side, however. Those winds will be blowing around 10 mph in the afternoon, with some gusts up to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: Winds will relax a bit as we head into the overnight hours as those mostly clear conditions will continue. Lows will drop into the middle 60s tonight, making for a pleasant evening.

EXTENDED: This quiet weather pattern will continue for the foreseeable future. We will see an almost identical day on Sunday so if you can’t get out and enjoy the weather today, you’ll have another chance. We’ll remain quiet throughout most of the workweek with highs topping out in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s just about every day. Next weather-maker looks to hold off until next Friday.
