Isolated storms this evening, with a beautiful weekend expected

FRIDAY: Despite a cold front tracking through Mid-Missouri today, it will still be on the hot side. Temperatures will climb into the lower 90s today, but thankfully humidity values will be on the low side. We could see a few isolated storms as we head into the evening, as a weak upper level disturbance tracks across the region. The best chance for any rain will come after 2 PM and last through at least 9. No severe weather is expected with any of the storms that we do see.

TONIGHT: Under clear skies and northwesterly flow, temperatures are going to drop into the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be up to 9 mph, keeping the low humidity in check into the night.

EXTENDED: The upcoming weekend looks mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 and nights in the upper 60s. Dew points will stay in the mid 60s so it will only feel slightly humid as north to northwesterly winds make it feel more comfortable. As we head into next week, the pattern looks to remain fairly quiet and seasonal. Afternoon highs will top out near 90 everyday, with overnight lows in the upper 60s.
