St. Louis man accused in serious Miller County crash

Highway Patrol troopers have arrested James Curry, 44, for drunk driving after a crash Saturday morning in Miller County left his passenger with serious injuries.

According to crash reports, Curry was driving near Missouri 52 just past Versailles Avenue at about 7:30 Saturday morning.

Curry apparently failed to negotiate a curve and the car went off the road and down an embankment. It flipped several times.

The passenger Sylvester Johnson, 52, is in serious condition. Curry got minor injuries. Johnson was not wearing a seatbelt.

Curry faces several charges including felony DWI causing serious physical injury.
