Mizzou makes Isiaih Mosley signing official
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Former Rock Bridge standout Isiaih Mosley made his commitment to Mizzou official on Wednesday afternoon. The former Missouri State guard comes in as one of the top-rated transfers in the country.
"Mizzou is home," Mosley said in a press release. "I'm excited about what is building hereĀ and want to help bring a winning cultureĀ to Mizzou. Committing here was an easy choice because it's back home, but it was made even easier after talking with coach Gates and the rest of the staff."
Through his three years in Springfield, Mosley had a stand out career with the Bears. He ranked No. 15 nationally last season, averaging 20.4 points per game. Ā He also became one of just three Division 1 players in the last 20 years to shoot better than 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three, and 90 percent at the charity stripe.
"I am ecstatic to have Isiaih back home in Columbia," head coach Dennis Gates said in a press release. "It is a priority for us to make Mizzou THE destination for our in-state kids. I believe Isiaih will have an impact in all areas that are important to our program ā in the classroom as he works toward his degree, on the court as he excels with his teammates and in the community as he gives back to the same city that raised him."
