Boonville man arrested in connection to Cooper County crash where vehicle fled the scene

A Boonville man was arrested for felony leaving the scene of an accident in connection to a crash on Saturday in Cooper County on westbound I-70 at the 114.2 mile marker.

Mark Burlison, 33, was arrested on Sunday at 1:10 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck with a trailer ht a 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the rear. The Impala went off of the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. The Impala then ended up facing south on the shoulder and in the driving lane.

The driver of the Impala, April Brashier, 43, of Woolridge and the passenger, Steven Brinkman, 41, of Columbia, were taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

The pickup truck was not found at the time fo the crash report.
